We drove all the way out to Wyoming to meet this little beauty. At three weeks old she was very alert, making it difficult to get the sleepy newborn pictures I have been craving. I still think they turned out pretty cute, but I am dying to get my hands on a brand new baby to try some things out on. Anyone want to volunteer?

More of my family
Here are some more from the family photoshoot we did with my husband's side of the family. Thanks to Matt for taking the group shot so I could be in it!

New website
Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to formally introduce you to:
My website!
I have removed all scheduling and contact info from this blog (although my email may be found in the sidebar) and put it on my website, so please check there for more information.
(If for some reason the link above does not work, the address is carlypendleton.com.)
To celebrate my new website going live, I'm giving anyone who blogs about and links to my site (or this photo blog) from their blog $10 off a portrait package. (You have to visit my site to see what that package is... wha ha ha.)

Babies everywhere!
Last weekend we visited my sister-in-law to see her brand new baby. While we were there we managed to coerce the entire family (there's 15 and a half of us now) to take some family photos. Here's the newest family member. Don't let her fool you; she's wide awake. She was just being cooperative.
And this is the next one scheduled to arrive in late August, just shy of her parent's first anniversary. Pretty good anniversary present, if you ask me.
Motherhood
I should have had these edited a while ago, but vacations and illnesses have been slowing me down. Karli didn't expect this little one to come early, but all the same I'm grateful he waited long enough for us to get some photos of his beautiful mother.
I think I'm finally getting a hang of backlight.... and I LOVE it.
This is the big-brother-to-be. Adorable, yes?
