I was so excited to shoot this wedding. The ceremony was at the Logan temple and I was thrilled to have the chance to have it's beautiful grounds at my disposal. The weather, however, had other plans. I began to worry when I couldn't see the road because of the thick snow fall on my way up. By the time we were ready to take pictures, it was so cold and snowy that we only had ten minutes before we were all too frozen to take any more. Luckily we were able to get a few as proof that "we were there."
At the reception we were taking some pictures with the groom's friends when this emu came out of nowhere! What would a ranch wedding be without some emus!
This picture makes me tear up every time I look at it. They were dancing to Butterfly Kisses... gets me every time.

An adventurous shoot
When Maurielle called me up and told me she had some ideas for their shoot, I knew I was in for a treat. What I didn't know is her ideas involved off-roading, wading through streams, and climbing across thorn infested banks to get the perfect shots! I've never been one to shy away from an adventure, so I said, "Let's do it!" We all came back a little more scratched and bruised than we left, but these two were so in love, they hardly even noticed. Congratulations you guys!

These guys will have gorgeous kids
This couple has been married for a few years, but volunteered to pose as an engaged couple so I could practice with my mentor, Sara Boulter. The biggest lesson I learned that day? Attractive people make this job sooo much easier.

My family
These are my cute niece and nephew. Neither one of them liked to have the camera in their face, but we managed to get some cute ones nonetheless.
I feel like I could swim in these blue eyes. It's just not fair for boys to be this beautiful.
